The Bootleg Beatles - Royal Concert Hall, Nottingham Theatre Royal

18.12.2006

What a truly tremendous show.  Never in my wildest dreams was I expecting something so brilliant.  We've all been to see so called tribute acts but these guys are flawless.  Keeping in character through out the performance with all our favourite Beatles hits performed to perfection.  Even outside of singing, these guys stay in part, right down to every word they speak.  I could close my eyes and I could have been at a real Beatles performance.  I enjoyed it so much that I have made up my mind already about going next year and am dragging as many of my friends along as I can.

Not only are these guys a great tribute band but they take you through the history of the Beatles, playing the songs in chronological order with costumes to match that time.  On a screen behind them between performance you are shown other things that happened during the years these songs were played and it very had to believe that you haven't traveled back in time.  All I can say, is next time they are playing in your area, go.  They are way too good to miss out on.
