Letters From London - Fiddlers Elbow, Camden , London

MSIS, Verbal Warning, The Dual & Letters from London

What an excellent night.  We headed off in the hired mini-van with the guys from Verbal Warning for their first gig in London and an evening of raw punk music.  On pulling up outside the Fiddler’s Elbow, there wasn’t an awful lot around and with only one option for food, a cheery kebab hut from which we all felt ill the next day.  Unfortunately, while at the cheery kebab hut, we missed the first band MSIS so I can’t advise on how their music sounded but I can tell you that The Duel were really good and I am looking forward to seeing them again at Rebellion this year.

The headlining band were Letters From London and I really don’t know how the line up was formed but these guys were about as close to punk music as chalk is to cheese.  They were good at what they did but were just like every other Indie boy band in the charts at the moment and certainly didn’t stand out as anything special to me.
