The Hives - Nottingham Rock City

Supported by Henry Fiat’s Open Sore, which shamefully I only caught the end of the last song so cannot comment on more than their unique appearance but hopefully I will get another chance to see them soon.  The Hives, however, I was definitely glad that I got the chance to see them.  Not since seeing The Addicts at Rebellion in 2007 have I seen such an entertaining band.  Not only did they play brilliantly but my eyes didn’t know which band member to watch first.  My reasoning for going a long was purely to see them perform ‘Hate to say I told you so’ and I must say that I loved every minute of this gig including that song.  I can truly say that I could watch The Hive again and again and never get bored.
