The Levellers - The Junction, Cambridge

26.03.2006 - Mother's day

What could make a better gift on Mother's day than taking your Mum to see The Levellers.  Well, it's a great gift for my Mum anyway as she brought me up listening to good music.

Love The Junction as a venue, especially to see The Levellers.  It doesn't matter where you stand there's always great sound and a great view, and both of these are essential for a Levellers performance.  Opening with the perfectly re-arranged speech from President (Dumb-Ass) Bush, they came out and gave an exceptional performance, playing songs that will stay with you right up until their next gig.  With two encores, these guys really showed their fans a great time.  If you get the chance to see The Levellers at The Junction, then I recommend you go.  They are just too good to miss.  Oh, and my Mum enjoyed it too.
