Vice Squad - The Intake Club, Mansfield

Support Bands - Verbal Warning, Tolerance and Pink Hearse

What an excellent venue.  Good booze, good size stage, quality sound and an amazing amount of space for plenty of people to watch.

Verbal Warning opened up the evening bringing in the crowds with their excellent punk rock music.

They were then followed by Tolerance, of whom the crowds and myself weren’t very tolerant of.  They started off really well but as the Tolerance set went on everyone cleared the room, including myself, much to the bass player’s annoyance, talk about drama queen!  As a word of advice, if you want to win the audience then don't make them feel insignificant!  Personally, I could have done without this band breaking the mood between Verbal Warning and Pink Hearse.

Thankfully, Pink Hearse brought everyone back in again and what a great act to get the crowd warmed up for Vice Squad.  After Blackpool it was great to see how their performance had grown and how relaxed they had become.  With songs like Pink Puke, which is not only funny but catchy too, I think these girls are going to go far.  If you haven’t seen them yet, then get you butt down to one of their gigs immediately.  May I just add a big thank you to the girls for signing my CD.

Vice Squad, what can I say.  OMG Becky, you should bring out an anti-aging regime or something.  Girl you look good!  And not only do you look good, you sound good too.  Having seen Vice Squad at Blackpool a couple of times I was really looking forward to this gig and, as always, it was awesome.  I will never get bored of watching/listening to Vice Squad.  Highly recommended viewing for punks and rockers everywhere.
