Fox Hunting

Here's a real issue for you guys.  Hunting.  Fox hunting to be more precise.  Who deemed this to be a sport?  One of our noble Kings, I believe.  But this 'noble' king lived centuries ago when this kind of thing was acceptable.  Back then it was acceptable to kill someone to settle a quarrel in a duel.  Do we still see this as acceptable now?  The world has changed.  If Fox hunting is a sport, why isn't it on our computers and games consoles or shown on TV like football or tennis.  It's not a sport, it's murder!

In 2005 a bill was passed to ban hunting with dogs.  Despite this 'so-called' ban the fox hunting and other forms of hunting, such as hare coursing were still going on.   Now we have a new government that see fox hunting as an acceptable form of fun, they are looking a lifting the ban to make it completely legal.  I didn't vote them in and this was one of my main reasons not to vote for them.

We are supposed to be a civilized country so why do we act like heathens killing poor defenseless animals.  Do the fox hunters agree with poaching elephants and rhino for their tusks and horns?  Is this not the same?  Do you eat the fox after killing it sir?  No you don't.

The definition for First Degree Murder is a killing which is deliberate and premeditated.  Is this not what you are doing?  You plan your hunt with intent to slay.  How does what you kill make you any different from any other murderer?
