Stop
forcing your plastic bags on me man! Why is whenever you go shopping you find yourself acquiring more and more plastic bags. I, like 90% of the population have brought the lovely re-usable plastic bags to help save the planet and I use them every week to do my shopping. What I can't understand is that, even after asking you if you have enough plastic bags, the person on the till still insists on placing some of your items in one of the free plastic bags that were supposed to have been made obsolete due to the damaging effect they are having on our planet. The whole reason that we obtained the re-usable plastic bag in the first place. Anyway, the point is I don't want to use the free planet-destroying plastic bags and yesterday I had just about had enough. After placing my variety of 10 reusable plastic bags at the end of the till for packing the check-out lady starts packing my frozen items into one of these tedious little bags. I said to her 'Not to worry, I have plenty of bags.' This must have been a terrible thing for her to take in as she said in a less than friendly voice 'I won't bother next time then.' Understandably, some people forget their bags and that is the reason for the 'Have you got enough bags' question but I clearly had enough bags. Stop trying to give me your free plastic bags! I don't want them!
