Washing
powder, aren't they made to remove stains anymore? Why is it when you go shopping now that you have to buy washing powder/liquids and stain remover? Isn't that the point of washing powders/liquids, aren't they supposed to remove stains and clean your clothes? Back when I was a child we never had stain removers, in fact my parents didn't even have a separate washing powder for white and colour washes. I believe that the washing powder manufacturers are trying to con us into spending our hard earned money on a product that we don't really need to by making us turn down the temperature to 30 degrees for our wash therefore stopping their powders from working correctly and making us have to buy stain remover to get rid of the stains that would be gone if you washed your clothes at 40 or 50 degrees. Have you ever tried to have a bath at 30 degrees centigrade? Brrrrrrr!!! And that's my point exactly if we don't feel clean and a bath of luke warm water, why should our clothes be? If it's not the above then is it that their washing powder is so bad that it doesn't remove stains and we need additional stuff for our washing, what does that say about the manufacturers idea of what works. I say just put the stain remover back in the washing powder and stop try to con the consumer!
