Let the right one in

Not really the scary horror film I was expecting but I enjoyed the story anyway.  To start off I felt a little let down because I was expecting a really scary horror movie with lots of tense/jumpy moments and as it went on the storyline I could see this wasn’t how the movie was going to be but it intrigued me anyway.  I would say that I did enjoy it even though it wasn’t what I wanted to watch and it was definite worth watching.  The special effects were subtle and made you wonder if you actually were seeing what you were seeing at first.  Very clever.  I wouldn’t buy it on DVD but it’s worth a rent if you don’t mind subtitles.
