This film was so to start, I had trouble keeping my eyes open.  Ben Stiller played the usual 'down-on-his-luck' dad with a son who wasn't proud of him.  With the typical 'everything turns out alright' ending.  It's a good if somewhat predictable kids movie with plenty of characters to keep the kids amused.  However, to see Ricky Gervais at the beginning made me cringe and after his performance, he should definitely stick to writing kids books.  If you want to see this movie, I would recommend renting it out on DVD, it's not worth Cinema prices.
