Saw (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6)

It has been a long time since someone has produced a series of horror movies that doesn't fail at the 3rd film in the series.  Most even fail at the 2nd but with Saw, I can truthfully say manages to keep you guessing through each and every film.  Not for faint-hearted, this series will make you squeal and squirm in your seat.  Although it has shockingly grotesque gory scenes, with things taking place that will make you wince, it does have a good story line with twists and turns that take you through all four films for more explanation of what is going on.  If you don’t like gore, then you won’t like this as the gore is used to shock but also add a vulnerable element to the movies to make you feel the desperation of the situations the victims are in.  With a ‘would you, wouldn’t you’ feel sending shivers through your entire body and sending the message of how valuable life is throughout.  These are a must watch for true horror fans.  They do start to get a bit samie and somewhat predictable once you get the tortures in your head but everyone has a little twist at the end that there a high possibility you won't guess and, in my honest opinion the story is good enough to keep you watching through all 6 movies and I'm sure I will go out and buy the 7th if only to keep my collection up to date.

10/10 for the first 4 films and 7/10 for 5 & 6
