Toy Story 3

You have to make sure you don’t miss this one.  Any true Toy Story fan will be stupid not to go to the cinema to watch Toy Story 3.  I went to see it in 3D although you don’t really need to watch it in this format, I’m not sure that a cartoon can give you the same reaction as a film might as the football trailer at the beginning got more of a 3D reaction.  However, if you want to see it in 3D you won’t be disappointed either as after Toy Story 2, and a long break, I had begun to think that despite both 1 & 2 being extremely good that they weren’t going to bring out a 3rd film.  I am so glad that they did.  Unlike most 3rd attempts at reliving the excitement of the when the films first began, Toy Story manages to deliver this excitement yet again and with so much more.  I could even say that it is even better then 1 and 2 but you need both of those to become a fan and understand the relationship that the toys have with Andy their owner.  The new movie will make you laugh, make you cry and have you on the edge of your seat so much that you won’t want the film to ever end but end it must and this is clearly an end of an era film.  You won’t be disappointed and you will want to buy it when it is released on DVD.  At the moment, this is my film of the year so far.

10/10
