This is just the place if you want to get away from it all.  Excellent for ramblers as it is located just on the outskirts of Snowdon National Park .  Wives, if your partner is a workaholic and you want to get him to yourself, then this is the place to go as there is no mobile reception where this hotel is situated.  The suited me just fine, I wanted to get away from it all and we did.  Providing a wholesome home cooked menu at their restaurant nightly (with the exception of Sunday), you could spend the day walking and get back for a heart-warmingly good meal in the evening.  You feel like you are stepping back in time, when you arrive to see the slightly dated furniture but despite this it feels like home.  I would liken it to my grandparent’s house – warm and cosy.  I must say, I would definitely stay there again, if I go back to the area and would highly recommend it.
