Have just finished reading the Green Mile (30/09/11) having had the book for a few years but after seeing the film I just never got around to reading it until now.  I can truly say that this is one book that once you start reading it you will not want to put it down, even if you have seen the film which is also brilliant.  This book's words are so powerful that it even managed to make me (I'm quite a hard ass really) cry in my car at lunch time.  But believe me it doesn't stop there it will make you laugh out loud too as you will find yourself lost in the story, transported from where ever you may be reading it to the story setting. b This is a must read for any Stephen King fan but even if you haven't tried a King book before, I recommend you start with this one.
