This is my favourite Stephen King novel to date  and the movie, although dated now, is great too.  This book is a horror story which installs your faith in friendship through adversity as it takes you through the lives of seven children living in Maine and fighting against their worst fears.  

This  could be a true story as the book is so well written and the characters are so strong that you feel as if you could almost be there struggling against IT with them.

I have always enjoyed Stephen Kings novels but this one has got to be the one that is most read in my collection.  I even had to buy a hard copy as the paperback fell to pieces.  Go out and buy it now.
