Over the past few months I have been reading this excellent series of children's books.  'Children's Books?'  I hear you say.  Well, It was by accident that I came to buy the first book I read, which was number nine in the series.  I was straight away drawn to the cover of the book and picked it up to take a look.  It is called the Carnivorous Carnival.  After reading the back very quickly I decided to buy it thinking that it was about maybe Cannibalism.  Sat down to read it and realised very quickly that it was a children's book.  However, once started, I was captured so quickly by the talents of Lemony Snicket that I couldn't put it down.  I just had to find out what happens to the three orphans.  Once finished I decided to go back to the start of the series and read them all.  I now finished the series and can truly say that I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of reading time.  These books are written in such an original way that both adults and children can enjoy them.  Please, please please Lemony Snicket, write some more.  You can find details of all of Lemony Snicket's Unfortunate Events series through the link below.
