I stumbled on this restaurant by chance while out shopping and pub hopping.  On reviewing the menu, it looked both tasty and cheap with lots of choice to please both the meat eaters and the vegetarians in the group.  On entry we were asked if we had booked a table, after mentioning that we hadn’t he looked in the book and said we can seat you but we need the table for 8pm.  We weren’t worried about this as we had to be somewhere else for 7pm and it was only 5.30pm after all.  Because of the time of day we were given 2 menus from which to choose our food;   the normal ala carte menu and the special ‘before 6.30pm’ menu.  We chose from the special menu which was incredibly good value.  £8.95 for 3 courses.
