Set away from the hustle and bustle of Nottingham or Derby , perched on the banks River Trent and surrounded by woodland is where you will find The Priest House Hotel.  The restaurant serves traditional dishes with a contemporary twist and with a menu of fresh local produce that changes to reflect the seasons availability, The Priest House Hotel delivers food that will tantalize almost anyone’s taste buds.  The service is exceptional.  My only gripe with this restaurant is that it serves foie gras – yet again, I have managed to find another restaurant that serves this terrible substance that promotes animal cruelty.  I am sad to say that I won’t be returning to the Priest House until it is removed from its menu.

10/10 for service and food quality apart from serving the foie gras.
