Where’s my hero

I sit in my bed, I cannot sleep,

The loneliness of the night does creep,

I lay the awake, I wonder why,

I cannot seem to close my eyes,

I toss and I turn, I finally fall,

But in my dreams there’s this solid brick wall,

I try to climb, I can’t break through,

The zombies are coming and I look for you,

Where’s my hero, My St Jimmy knight,

There’s no one to save me It can’t be right,

The zombies come closer, nowhere to run,

I try to scream then the nightmare’s done,

I’m awake now, alone in my bed,

Thoughts of the nightmare run through my head,

You say to call you, but I just lay here,

I’ll tell you tomorrow when my head is clear.
